Literals and constants

Numbers, strings, booleans, matrices, and the current absence of named numeric constants.

Supported literals

Finite and non-finite f64 results
Boolean literals true and false
Single- or double-quoted strings
Numeric matrix literals, including []

Named constants

The current runtime does not dispatch pi, e, Inf, or NaN as direct named constants.

Support boundary

Do not rely on MATLAB-style named constants until they appear in the runtime catalog. Non-finite numeric results can still arise from arithmetic or CSV data.
